GCPS offers tuition-based online courses in a variety of subjects through Gwinnett County Online Campus. Students can take courses to get ahead or to make up a class. While online courses offer flexibility, they are not self-paced— students have teacher-directed deadlines, due dates, and examinations. Students must meet certain prerequisites.
Spring Semester 2008 - Online Campus Course Offerings
Registration (online only): January 4, 2008 - January 19, 2008 (VISA or Mastercard accepted)
STUDENTS MUST ATTEND THESE MANDATORY SESSIONS:
- Online vClass Session/Chat on the FIRST DAY OF CLASS (January 26) on your home computer, check website and your course announcements for time. Failure to attend this session will result in being dropped from the course.
- Final Exam (May 10) or End-of-Course Test (EOCT) (May 5 - 8, check website and/or your course announcements for date/time). The final exam and EOCT will be administered in a face-to-face meeting at Buchanan School of Technology, 2595 Beaver Ruin Road, Norcross, Georgia 30071.
- Materials pick-up is required for some courses (January 24, 3:00pm-8:00pm) at Buchanan School of Technology, Building E. Check the website for the list of courses.
Open Lab Sessions (For students who need technical assistance with any of the course tools, such as uploading homework, document sharing, taking tests/quizzes, etc.)Monday, January 28, 3:00pm-7:00pm
